Weekly update #13

- Spent Monday afternoon emailing someone from the Learning Trust and Clook, our new hosts, to get test website working. Thanks to new network setup at work, access to the hosts is blocked! So went home.

- Tweaking CSS for the Term dates section on the Home page

- Lots more tweaking of things to get the test website working. This is not simple! Requires changing a line of code in settings.php (found in sites/default). What goes in this line of code took ages to figure out - it tells your website files how to connect to your database - and needs the correct usename and password combination corresponding to those you've set your database up with on your hosting account. But there are quite a few usernames and passwords associated with this, and I didn't find it obvious how to do this without some help on exactly what was required here.

Finally managed to upload things, but the css is doing something odd to the online version, so the layout is different to that of my local copy!
